Merrillville High School Science Teacher Mrs. Campbell sets up a crime scene in her class today and asked School Resource Officer Kevin Furman to walk students through a mock crime scene investigation. Students were tasked with collection of evidence, and asked to determine the manner of death. The activity is an example of the creative way Mrs. Campbell is teaching Biomedical Science, a Project Lead the Way course. Students used online tools and diagrams to conduct their own interviews and to process the scene. Students were excited and truly engaged! Awesome job Miss Campbell!
