Marram Health Center announced today that Danté Brown, DMD, MPH joined its dental clinic on October 7, 2019. He joins the team as a full-time dental provider.
Dr. Brown will provide dental services including annual exams, check-ups, fillings, extractions, and sealants at the Gary location and is joined by Tiffany Ballard, LDH. Current dentist Nicholas Cain, DDS and Kathleen McMannes, LDH will remain at the dental clinic part-time.
“We are excited to add Dr. Brown and Tiffany to the Marram Health Center team to expand access to our dental services,” said Matt Burden, President/CEO. “His experience with health centers, homeless shelters, and other organizations will bring a complete level of care to our community,” said Burden.
Brown received his Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry from the University of Illinois Chicago in 2016. He received a Master’s of Public Health from the same university in 2017 and has work experience at health centers in both Valparaiso and Indianapolis.
He carries a number of professional memberships, including the American Dental Association and National Dental Association.
“Access to quality dental care can be difficult for many, and we’re thrilled to be expanding these services,” said Burden.
Marram Health Center’s dental clinic is now open full-time. The clinic accepts Medicaid, Medicare, and most private insurance coverage, and offers a sliding fee scale for patients who are underinsured or uninsured.
