Marram Health Center supports students with back-to-school healthcare

School is right around the corner. Along with all the excitement comes lots of to-do’s for parents to check off. Marram Health Center is doing everything it can to make that list a little bit shorter.

Focused on its mission of providing quality healthcare regardless of socioeconomic status, Marram is providing sports/school physicals as well as immunizations for children throughout the Region.

Sports and school physicals will cost parents only $20 per patient.

Open to all students ages K-12, participating children are even eligible to receive a free backpack through August 31 while supplies last.

Beyond sports physicals, Marram Health Center is working with families around the Region to provide students with the required childhood immunizations before school starts.

Some students and families may find that their insurance even covers the first annual well-child visit.

Marram’s pediatric department provides a variety of services including but not limited to check-ups/sick visits, dental services, behavioral assessments, and developmental assessments.

All of these services are possible because Marram Health Center is a federally qualified health center with locations in Gary, Hebron, and Portage.
