Methodist Hospitals announces the appointment of Maria Chicchelly to the position of Assistant Vice President, Patient Care at the Northlake Campus in Gary. Maria has over 20 years of clinical and managerial experience in Acute Medical/Surgical Care, Women’s Health and Inpatient/Outpatient Behavioral Health. She has served in roles as Director of Nursing and Director of Patient Care Services at Presence Health - St. Joseph Hospital in Chicago. Maria holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Work from Mount Mercy University, Cedar Rapids, Iowa; a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Resurrection University, Chicago; and a Master of Business Administration degree from Loyola University, Chicago.
