About the partnership

Habitat for Humanity and the NWI Veterans Action Council has joined forces to construct a home for a deserving veteran and his or her family in Northwest Indiana. The cost to build the home is $90,000 and this breakfast will serve a fundraiser towards reaching that goal. There are approximately 37,000 veterans living in Lake County. 17 percent of these veterans are living in poverty.
