Long-time Valpo Business is New Central Park Plaza Partner

Indiana-Beverage-75th-LogoThe Valpo Parks Foundation is pleased to announce another exceptional partner in the private-public expansion of Central Park Plaza.

Through a generous gift of $300,000 over a ten-year naming rights partnership, the 6,100 square foot multipurpose facility adjacent to the William E. Urschel Pavilion will now be named the Indiana Beverage Activity Center. The Indiana Beverage Activity Center features a 1,100 square foot community gathering room and ice skating warming area, large and accessible public restrooms, private conference room, ice skate rental service area, the Tri Kappa four seasons art mosaic, and additional support facilities for ice operations including the Zamboni garage.

“Established in 1892, Leetz Grocery, located on Indiana Avenue, remained in business for over 65 years. In 1939, another home town business, Valpo Beverages, opened its doors on the same street, Indiana Avenue. For more than 75 years this beverage company has been providing quality products in northern Indiana.
