The Fourth Degree of the Indiana Knights of Columbus through the establishment of the Abraham Lincoln Assembly will be celebrating their 100th anniversary at Radisson Hotel Star Plaza Sept. 13 and Sept. 14, 2014.
During the gathering, the Knights of Columbus through the establishment of the Abraham Lincoln Assembly will be hosting an exemplification ceremony, where Third Degree Knights of Columbus members will become Fourth Degree members. The Fourth Degree of the Knights of Columbus is the patriotic degree. Additionally, there will be a banquet featuring a special tribute to the five military services that defend the United States.
According to Mike Siorek, a trustee of the Abraham Lincoln Assembly, the Abraham Lincoln Assembly is the oldest assembly in the state of Indiana. Approximately 500 attendees are expected to attend the celebration, with Knights of Columbus members coming from Connecticut, Kentucky, Wisconsin, North Carolina, Illinois and Indiana.
