Legacy-Foundation-Celebrating-24-Years-of-Service-in-Lake-CountyThis week Legacy Foundation hosted it's 24th Annual Meeting with donors, grant recipients, and community partners! All were there to celebrate the positive work happening in Lake County. The Wirt-Emerson High School "Tornadoes" welcomed us with jazz. Legacy's President and Board Chair highlighted successes of the past year and set the direction for the year to come.

We heard inspiring stories from Garrard McClendon, whose fund carries on his parents' legacy. Scholarship recipient Kimberly Reppa, shared how she has overcome barriers to pursue her goals of changing the world through innovative engineering solutions

As Legacy embarks on its 25th year, we want to hear from you!
We launched a new initiative called On the Table. On one day in September we're asking you to gather in small groups for a mealtime conversation to talk about what's happening in our communities - both positive work and challenges - and how we as individuals and a collective can work toward a better Lake County. The key takeaways collected from your conversations will help drive Legacy Foundation's future direction and generate creative solutions for community issues. Tools and resources are available to assist you.
