Large Number of Parents Line Up for Precious Spots at St. Mary’s School

Large-Number-of-Parents-Line-Up-for-Precious-Spots-at-St-Marys-SchoolSt. Mary Catholic Community School in Crown Point’s OPEN APPLICATION period for new students began last week. More than forty families showed up to turn in applications for spots for next school year. The school advertised that it would begin accepting applications for new students at 8:00 AM. The first parents to arrive came at 5:33 AM and 5:35 AM. The school welcomed its largest number of families in years. “We’ve been around since 1872 and in this day and age, parents still want what they feel is the best education possible for their children. We provide a wonderful, nurturing learning environment and our staff is amazing. We’re blessed to be in a position to teach such awesome kids,” said principal, Tom Ruiz.
