Learning & More @ the Library

All Day
All month long during open hours, enjoy early literacy activities, along with crafts and more for all ages. It's always fun @ the library! Registration is not required.

Preschool Story Hour
Tuesdays, February 3 & 17
10:30 a.m. & 1 p.m.
4 and 5 year old children will hear stories and participate in music activities, rhymes, crafts and more, with an emphasis on important early pre-reading skills.

'Paws'-itively Reading Fun

5 pm
Children of all ages can read aloud to licensed, therapy dogs and participate in reading activities, games, and crafts. Preschoolers must be accompanied by an adult.

LEGO Mania
Thursday, February 5
4:30 pm
Children through grade 6 will make and display their own LEGO structures made with library LEGO bricks. All supplies and snacks provided. Preschoolers must be accompanied by an adult.

S.T.E.A.M. Friday

All Day
Using Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math,children will enjoy experimenting, designing, building, computing, and crafting. This month the heart, the circulatory system, exercise and more! Registration is not required.

Power Paws for Kids

Children of all ages will have the opportunity to read a library book to one of the registered Delta Society Pet Partner dogs (accompanied by their trainers). The dogs are provided through Power Paws for Kids, a non-profit organization. Registration is not required.

Chinese New Year Celebration

School age children (kindergarten to grade 6) are welcome to rin in ghe 'Year of the Goat' and dance with the dragon costume created by our teens.

Lab Rat Tuesdays – Sink That Ship!
