'Paws'– itively Reading Fun
Wednesday, April 1
5 p.m.
Children of all ages can read to licensed therapy dogs and participate in reading activities, games, and crafts. Preschoolers must be accompanied by an adult.

LEGO Mania
Thursday, April 2
4:30 p.m.
Children through grade 6 will make and display their own LEGO structures made with library LEGO bricks. All supplies and snacks will be provided. Preschool children must be accompanied by an adult.

Using Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math, kids of all ages will enjoy experimenting, designing, building, computing, and crafting. This month explore science magic and tricks.

LEGO Club

Mother Goose on the Loose is a 30 minute interactive nursery rhyme program for 6 to 23 month old infants and toddlers accompanied by a caregiver. It includes rhymes, stories, music, and movement.

1:30 p.m.
Preschool children, ages 4-5 years, will enjoy stories, songs, activities, a short film and a craft.

Kids' Art Club

Children in grades 2 through 6 will learn to draw and paint in this monthly club.

Story Time for 2s & 3s

Young children ages 2-3 years, along with their caregivers, will enjoy stories, songs, activities and a craft. This program lasts approximately 40 minutes.

Edible Book Fair

11 a.m. - 1 p.m.
Get creative during National Library Week by creating an 'edible book' inspired by a favorite tale; involve a pun on a famous title; or simply be in the shape of a book. All entries brought in by 11 a.m. will be exhibited, documented, and eligible to win prizes.

Power Paws for Kids
Saturday, April 18
11 a.m.
Children of all ages will have the opportunity to read a library book to one of the registered Delta Society Pet Partner dogs provided through Power Paws for Kids, a non-profit organization. Registration is not required.

Earth Day Celebration

Children in kindergarten through grade 6 will enjoy a variety of Earth Day activities to celebrate our beautiful planet.

Money Smart Week: Three Cups
Friday, April 24
4 p.m.
Author Tony Townsley will read his book, “Three Cups: A Lesson in Life and Money,” for children (4 to 8 years of age). The children will then make three cups (one each for saving, spending, and giving) to take home. Registration by April 17 required.

Home School Art Club

Children (7 to 12 years of age) will learn how to paint and draw in this one hour monthly club.

LEGO Building

Young LEGO enthusiasts, kindergarten and up, are invited to stop by any time from 3 to 7 pm for creative building time with other kids. Participants will construct with LEGO blocks, then share their creations with the group.

Arbor Day Art: Using Books in a New Way
