In an effort to cooperate with the area schools and provide excellent education, the The Lake County Public Library is currently working with the schools in the library's district to allow every student to receive a digital access library card. The first school system to come on board is the Lake Station Community Schools.
Every student of the Lake Station Community School system will receive a digital access library card which allows them to have immediate access to the Library's online resources for school help and research. Students will be able to find full-text journal and magazine articles, eBooks, encyclopedias, practice tests, genealogy, local history, as well as music. The goal is to help reach out to every student for help with school work and research papers.
