On Saturday, the Portage High School Lady Indians basketball team split a pair of games at the Tippecanoe Tournament. They dropped the first game 46-28 to Tippy Valley. Kaitlin Doud was the leading scorer with 11 points. In the nightcap, the Indians defeated Munster 63-47. Alexis Johnson led four double-figure scorers with 17.
Freshman Kaitlyn Shafer provided a big spark with 11 points, on three three-pointers. With the win, Portage sits at 4-2 on the season.
