Korellis Roofing has been leading the charge in Chicagoland’s roofing industry since 1960. With its core principles of honesty, integrity, and customer satisfaction, as well as its use of cutting-edge roofing technology and safety training program, Korellis Roofing earns the right to do things the “Korellis Way.”
Always recruiting, now is as prime a time as ever to join the Korellis team.
At the forefront of Korellis Roofing is its commitment to safety, performance, and workmanship. Korellis Roofing values its associates as much as its customers, providing a secure and safe work environment, and treating all employees with respect and positive reinforcement. Korellis Roofing offers associates fair compensation and plenty of resources for development.
Perhaps most advantageous for prospective employees is the structured apprenticeship program. Each Korellis craftsman completes a five-year apprenticeship program through the local unions designed to teach and maintain exceptional field force personnel. This apprenticeship covers everything from roofing techniques and worksite preparation, to the teaching and regulation of safety procedures, guaranteeing the safety of associates in all environments.
Korellis Roofing also utilizes their onsite training center to provide supplemental training from the local unions. A full-time Workforce Development Manager is employed to fast-track the skills of entry-level apprentices, visit job sites to help teach with more intricate roofing details, and provide refresher courses to even the most experienced roofers as needed.
When it comes to safety, Korellis Roofing always places employees first. Monthly meetings for all employees to address current job hazards and any other concerns ensure that safety is an ongoing venture. And every year, the company holds a “Safety Fest,” a full-day seminar focused on safety training. The seminar is led by instructors who present a variety of safety topics, including material handling, working with hot asphalt, fire-fighting, and proper use of personal fall prevention systems. The Korellis Roofing safety program also includes a full-time safety manager, weekly job-site tool box talks, and training to keep up to date on OSHA requirements.
Korellis Roofing also takes pride in the fact that all its employees are drug-free. The measures the company takes to ensure a drug-free workplace further demonstrate a commitment to their employees’ safety and well-being. The Korellis team will not risk jeopardizing the safety of coworkers and customers, so it conducts pre-employment, random, and post-accident testing.
In creating a culture that fosters ongoing development and training, fair compensation, and the highest standards in safety, Korellis has earned a reputation as an award-winning, well-established, and talented team of professionals. With numbers growing alongside employees’ skills, Korellis is always looking to shape another professional for the team.
