The Liberty Elementary Physical Education Department along with the American Heart Association, held a Jump for Heart Event at Liberty Elementary in Chesterton in late February. Students helped raise money to support heart research and programs for the American Heart Association. The students raised $7,795.69 which is the highest total ever for Liberty Elementary.
