As we approach late summer and summer sports are winding down for many, CineMagic would like to thank all of the coaches who put in their time, energy and resources for our kids. Coaching is an awesome responsibility and can often be a thankless job. With that in mind, CineMagic would like to announce the winner of its first ever Coach of the Year Award...
Coach Jamie Green of the Schererville Sluggers
Jamie was selected by CineMagic based on the feedback from parents on his team and comments made on both Facebook and via email.
While Cinemagic received many nominations from all over Northwest Indiana, it was the submissions by the parents of this Schererville coach that really stood out among the rest. One parent wrote:
"His positive dedication to the boys is amazing. From on the field, to get togethers off the field making all of us feel like a baseball family. He instills a brotherhood upon the boys and they all watch out for each other on and off the field. I could go on and on..."
