Jackson Elementary School students recently participated in their annual holiday food drive sponsored by the Jackson Student Council in conjunction with the district-wide drive coordinated by Chesterton High School. Jackson students surpassed their goal of 1500 items and set a new school record by bringing in 3,311 items for the food drive. The class that brought in the most items was Mrs. Kosakowski's kindergarten class.
