We could all use a little love right now. #GivingTuesdayNow is a new global day of generosity and unity that takes place on May 5, 2020, to come together and give back in response to the unprecedented need caused by COVID-19.

At a time when we are home together, #GivingTuesdayNow is a great opportunity to work together to spread generosity and support those working to lessen the impact of coronavirus on our community.

Those interested in joining Legacy Foundation’s #GivingTuesdayNow efforts can visit http://engage.legacyfdn.org/view-all-needs/campaign/616?layout=single .

From the Fund, Legacy Foundation, in partnership with Crown Point Community Foundation and Foundations of East Chicago, has awarded $290,500 to 50 nonprofit organizations serving Lake County residents in their time of need.
