Indiana State Police Superintendent Doug Carter announced the following promotions of command personnel with the Indiana State Police. The promotions were effective on June 16, 2014 and were formally recognized at a promotion ceremony held earlier today (June 26th) at state police headquarters in downtown Indianapolis.
Charles R. Sorrells, the Assistant Chief of Staff Human Resources and Administration, was promoted to the rank of Major.
Michael A. White, the Assistant Chief of Staff Communication and Information Systems, was promoted to the rank of Major.
Michael A. Wylie was promoted to the rank of Captain to serve as the Commander of the Human Resources Division.
