Indiana State Police Accepting Applications for Regional Dispatch Shift Supervisor at the Lowell Regional Dispatch Center

Indiana-State-Police-logoThe Indiana State Police is accepting applications for a Regional Dispatch Shift Supervisor position at the Lowell Post to staff the Regional Dispatch Center that operates there. Successful applicants must be able to provide shift supervision to Regional Dispatchers to ensure efficient and accurate telecommunications operation relating to operational and personnel functions at the Regional Dispatch Center, including the oversight and use of a Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) system, Records Management System (RMS), Automatic Vehicle Locator (AVL), Geographical Information System (GIS) and other Regional Dispatch Center resources. A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required. Two years of dispatch experience in the public safety communications field is required. An emergency medical technician (EMT) certification is also preferred.

Pay starts at $37,778 per year.
