Summer is here and Indiana Beverage has a whole slew of adult beverages to quench your thirst and add a little flavor to your summer nights. Recently, we got a chance to sample a mighty selection of these beverages, from your traditional beers, to some sweet hard sodas and some low calorie spiked sparkling waters; all perfect ways to kick back, relax, and soak in the summer.
The selection included: Henry's Hard Sparkling Water of various flavors from lime to watermelon, White Claw Hard Seltzer in flavors like black cherry, Truly Spiked Sparkling Water in refreshing flavors like grapefruit and pomegranate, Smirnoff spiked sparkling water, Bravazzi Hard Italian Soda with a punch of sweetness and great flavors like blood orange and grapefruit, Samuel Adams Summer Ale, Revolution Brewing Rosa Hibiscus Ale, Old Style Cooler by the Lake Radler, Leinenkugels' Summer Shandy, and Bell's Oberon Ale.
With so many great beverages, it was hard to pick, but here's what delighted our taste buds most:
Jennifer Bissonnette - The Bravazzi Hard Italian Sodas are going to be an excellent addition to my summer! My favorite is the Blood Orange flavor. It’s light and refreshing, yet sweet enough to be reminiscent of cracking open a can of orange soda and laying out at the pool. With just the right amount of fizz and it being naturally gluten-free, it’s sure to be a summertime staple!
Peter Krivas - When summer comes along, few things are more anticipated than the lush greenery, enjoying the verdant outdoors, and the pungent aromas of blooming flowers. Beer doesn't hurt either. Revolution Brewing has produced something that brings the blooms of summer right to your lips with their Rosa Hibiscus Ale. Refreshing with a perfect amount of flavor from the hibiscus, this is the ideal beer for a warm summer's day.
Stephanie Swearington - I loved the White Claw Black Cherry hard sparkling water. It was crisp and tasty after a day at the beach. There was a hint of black cherry flavor and the bubbles were very light and refreshing.
Nick Dapkus - I always enjoy trying something new while lounging poolside on a nice summer day. Definitely had many good choices to try but for me the standout was the Henry’s Hard Sparkling Water Lemon-Lime. I have always enjoyed lemon-lime flavored drinks, and this was no exception.
Jenny Craig-Brown - I am so in love with all of the spiked water products! The Truly, White Claw, Smirnoff, and Henry’s Hard Seltzer are all incredible and will be a staple in all of my summer fun. With the lower calories and carbs this is perfect for someone wanting to watch their diet but still have a few cocktails with friends. I am so excited these are finally an option!
Candace Arvin - These spiked sparkling waters are delicious and perfect for summer! At only 110 calories with natural fruit flavor and a hint of alcohol, the Black Cherry flavored White Claw was definitely my favorite. Variety packs are also available so you can try their other flavors like ruby grapefruit, natural lime, or raspberry too! Not to mention it’s all natural, low carb and gluten-free, making it the perfect drink to keep you bathing suit ready!
