It's the gift that gives twice.
The chilly and wet morning didn’t keep more than 500 shoppers from attending the Hospice Artisans’ 9th Holiday Boutique on Saturday, Oct. 14 at St. Maria Goretti Parish’s Casa Maria Hall.
“It’s so wonderful to be part of this event every year,” said Marge Kullerstrand, Hospice Artisan. “It’s quite humbling to see how much support we get from the community. They rally around our hospice mission and appreciate the work we all do.”
The Holiday Boutique is the Artisans’ largest event with 500 supporters walking through the doors this year. Two years ago, the Hospice Artisans took their business online and sell their merchandise at HospiceArtisans.org. All proceeds from their sales directly benefit HCA.
“I’m proud to be part of this dedicated group of creative geniuses with hearts for hospice,” said Lydia Dershewitz, Hospice Artisan director. "Working with them over the years always inspires me because they are just so dedicated and talented."
Items can be purchased throughout the year at HospiceArtisans.org and many holiday gifts such as cards, ornaments, clothing, jewelry, woodwork and more, are one-of-a-kind gifts made exclusively for the organization.
