Homes built function, lifestyle: the Manors at Walden Clearing

Nestled in the heart of St. John, the Manors at Walden Clearing community is bringing something unique to Northwest Indiana. With that classic, modern farmhouse charm and Sublime Homes’ signature designs and quality, their newest community is sure to be a standout.

“We’re seeing homebuyers are ready for something new and different to the area and this is it,” said Amy Alexander, sales and marketing director for Sublime Homes. “Homebuyers are wanting a home that’s more functional to their lifestyles and these floorplans are just that - multifunctional.”

“With this community, we wanted to offer a variation of each style of homes between the Magnolia, the Lilly, and the Daisy,” said design director Jackie Graniczny. “While they’ll each be very different, they’ll also be similar in style and architecture.”

The Manors at Walden Clearing embraces a small-town community feel with a rich rural character reflective of the land’s heritage. Evoking the original farmland setting, modern farmhouse theme was the perfect choice to make the community stand out from neighbors.

“We worked with the developer to ensure that we were maintaining the feel of what was on the land already around the subdivision,” Alexander said. “We’ve been able to create beautiful, custom-built homes and it shows how our creativity can help your budget go far.”

Eliminating the formal dining room was just one of the ways Sublime Homes implemented feedback from previous homebuyers. This allowed for an open-concept space with the dining space integrated with the family room and the kitchen. Graniczny said the new development is a true testament of what Sublime Homes stands for in quality and customer value.

“We put on our thinking caps in terms of what clients were telling us to eliminate potential unused space and took more of a casual and relaxed approach with these floorplans,” Graniczny said.

Last month, GreatNews.Life got an exclusive look at the Magnolia, the first home being built at the Manors at Walden Clearing. When Sublime Homes unveiled the other new floor plans to us, Graniczny said making changes like relocating the staircase into the heart of the home, or the kitchen, allowed them to expand other areas of the house, such as the mudroom, to be a little more functional.

“All three floorplans will have a covered front porch, sideload three-car garage, and mudroom located off the front of the home,” Graniczny said. “Typically, we have those rooms in the back of the home but moving it to the front of the home allows it to be more practical and serve two areas of the home, the entryway and garage.”

Along with having floor plans designed around functionality, the Manors at Walden Clearing offers convenient access to the area’s best attractions, shopping locations, and schools.

“This community is extra special for the Sublime Home team because we developed it all in-house from the very beginning,” Graniczny said. “And to see it all come together is very gratifying.”
Sublime Homes is in the first phase of two in this project with a total of 16 lots. With two lots already sold, available lots are going quick. For more information on the Manors at Walden Clearing and available lots, visit their website.
