On Friday, October 3, 2014, the Hanover Central High School varsity football team will host Wheeler High School in our fall 2014 homecoming game. Gates for this event will open at 5:30 p.m. with kickoff scheduled for 7 p.m.
Prior to the start of the game, a senior recognition ceremony will occur beginning at 6:30 p.m. During halftime, the homecoming court ceremony will take place with the naming of the 2014 homecoming king and queen.
The Hanover Central Athletic Department, in cooperation with Bubba’s BBQ, will host a pre-game tailgate cookout from 4:00 pm – 6:30 pm adjacent to the high school cafeteria. All football fans and Wildcat supports are welcome to come out and join the fun. Bubba’s BBQ will be offering tailgate meal packages to everyone at the following prices:
BBQ pork sandwich, chips and a drink for $7.00
Smoked Johnsonville brat, chips and a drink for $7.00
Grilled hamburger/cheeseburger, chips and a drink for $7.00
BBQ pork nacho platter and a drink for $7.00
Pork chop sandwich, chips and a drink for $8.00
Tailgaters and fans may eat in the high school cafeteria or take their meal back to their parking lot locations. A portion of the proceeds will go to support Hanover Central Athletics.
Game admission tickets will also be pre-sold at the tailgate for those fans who want to get in the bleachers as soon as the gates open.
