Holladay Properties has a ton of exciting news just around the corner! As 2018 moves into spring and warmer weather, they’ve got some great things in the pipeline for the community to get excited about.
Their latest announcement is that they’ve closed on the 1500 83rd Avenue property in Merrillville, the site of the old Club 83. The future holds some big plans for the property and Holladay is ready to transform this abandoned corner. Keeping the site’s proximity to Interstate 65 in mind, the group has opted for an update that will aid the community and travelers alike.
This space provides over five acres for Holladay to work with, which gives them a big opportunity. While the current building serves as nothing more than an eyesore with a neglected exterior, dark colors, and no real purpose, Holladay has new plans for the space.
The former club will soon be completely demolished to make way for a new development in Merrillville. Holladay plans to replace the club with a brand new WoodSpring Suites extended stay hotel! As an extended stay hotel, the new building will boast kitchens in each of their 123 rooms and more affordable rates for longer stays. As a four-story, brand new building, this addition is sure to be positive for the community and all involved.
With I65 so near the location and with plenty of shopping, eateries, and entertainment options nearby, this hotel should provide visitors a great place to stay when visiting family, passing through, or coming in for some of Merrillville’s other great features.
