Over twenty businesses in downtown Hobart will be participating in Small Business Saturday on Saturday, November 25th from 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM. Each of the businesses will offer a special promotion for the day. A Welcome Station will be located at The Art Theater, 230 Main Street in Hobart. Here shoppers can obtain a business “passport” and map of all participating businesses and the special promotions offered by each business. Shoppers who receive “passport stamps” by visiting at least five (5) participating businesses may enter their names in a raffle at the Welcome Station to win prizes and gift cards donated by Hobart businesses. Free Small Business Saturday tote bags are available to shoppers at the Welcome Station on a first come, first serve basis.
The Art Theater will be offering free admission for screenings of It’s A Wonderful Life at 10:00 AM and A Christmas Story at 1:00 PM. Pictures with Santa will be available at the Art Theater between 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM and 1:00- 3:00 PM. Photos will be offered at no cost, compliments of Classic Photo and Pam Ridings State Farm, in exchange for a nonperishable food item, which will be donated to the Hobart Food Pantry.
