Hammond Boys and Girls Club Art Contest

bgc-nwiJulio Guerra founder of societyfound.com and art instructor at the Hammond Boys & Girls Club has been working with a group of teens on a 10 week creative writing and talent course. On Wednesday the teens will battle it out showing of their talents and hard work.

Purpose of the event is to showcase the creative writing talents ad quick reaction time of our Club members with in a 30 sec. time limit in a rhythm fashion. Two former members who have gone to work in this fashion will be part of the event at guest judges, Lady Mercy & Triston H. One former member will also be performing. Julio Guerra states, “This event will showcase that the work being done at the Hammond Club is building Club members self esteem, showing them how they express themselves in creative ways, and various ways to experience new things. All of these things can open doors and unlock hidden talents of our members.”

Society Found is a website in Northwest Indiana to help promote the creativity of people in Northwest Indiana to help promote the creativity of people in the Region and Chicagoland area. Society Found will be donating their time and talents providing photos and video for the event. They are also hosting the event and supplying all audio equipment and duties needed.
