On Saturday April 11, 2015 the Griffith Fire Department Auxiliary will be holding their third annual Chili Cook-off at the Griffith Fire House #3.
The Griffith Fire Department Auxiliary is a 501c Non for profit group of Griffith Firefighter family members who work together to raise money to support the Griffith Fire Department, Firefighter families, and community members effected by fire. We assist with coffee, food, water, and other needed supplies on fire scenes. We are also available to assist during funerals of fallen firefighters and other emergency personal as needed. We are also prepared to assist community families in the event that they are affected by a total loss due to a home fire. Finally, we also support the family members of our firefighters through various activities throughout the year. We would not be able to do any of these things without continued fundraising and support from our community.
This year we will be holding our third annual Chili-cook off, bake sale, silent auction, and raffle on April 11th, 2015 to help raise the needed funds to continue our efforts.
