Greater Portage Chamber of Commerce Introduces New, Improved Website

The Greater Portage Chamber of Commerce recently celebrated the launch of their new, updated website. Thanks to some cooperative teamwork and forward-thinking ingenuity, the new website features some slick new visuals as well as some impressive upgrades.

"We're excited to finally have a new website that not only updates its look but also its features for chamber members as well," says Greater Portage Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Nancy Simpson.

All chamber members have the ability to utilize their own unique login information, giving them a plethora of new options designed to help them enhance and expand business in Portage.

"Members can update their contact information as well as business descriptions. They can even reach out into the community even further than before by posting coupons for businesses and offering deals for other members."

Simpson claims that the creation of this new website came from a unanimous decision to offer members a faster, more efficient website to best reflect the decisions of the chamber.

"Our older system was not updated for the longest time," says Simpson. "It was difficult to navigate and was in many ways, counterintuitive to what we really wanted. By offering this new website it's become more user-friendly. We are using a new system called Chambermaster which improves so many areas."

The chamber's website was constructed by Catalyst Tech Solutions, who worked closely with the needs of the chamber members and integrated it with chambermaster.

"It's just great how we can do so many things and offer so many features that we simply couldn't do online before, it feels like a huge jump forward," says Simpson. "We can now create events. We can register online, these were all things that people can now do from their own home. I hope all of our members can take advantage of these great features and can create more connections that benefit the community more than ever before."
