“A” to “Z” SALAD BAR

Sponsored by Sodexo MAGIC, the school’s food service provider, the program is designed to explain the benefits of eating fruits and vegetables, while introducing students to some new varieties of produce.

The event includes a jumbo self-service salad bar containing fruits and vegetables that begin with each letter of the alphabet. Students will be encouraged to sample a variety of healthy foods and include more fruits and vegetables in meals and snacks.

Activity sheets focusing on featured produce will be distributed, and informational flyers will be given to share with their family. Prizes and rewards will be given for added fun and excitement.
