The Gary Community School Corporation invites parents, families, and community members to attend the Power of Partnership Parent Conference, a one-of-a-kind event designed to empower families with the tools and resources to foster academic success and emotional well-being for their children.
The free conference will take place on Saturday, May 31, 2025, from 8:30 AM to 1:15 PM at the West Side Leadership Academy, located at 900 Gerry Street, Gary, IN 46404. This enriching day will be packed with engaging sessions, exciting activities, and opportunities to connect with community resources that support education and family well-being.
Highlights of the Power of Partnership Parent Conference Include:
- Keynote Speaker: Mrs. Crystal Melton, First Lady of Gary, delivering an inspiring address on the secrets to successful parenting.
- Resource Fair: Explore a variety of local resources dedicated to educational support and community engagement.
- Massages & Self-Care: Rejuvenate your mind and body with self-care services offered on-site.
- Food and Fun: Enjoy delicious food and family-friendly activities throughout the event.

- Enrollment: GCSC team members can enroll your child onsite at the conference.
