Need help preparing for the High School Equivalency (HSE) test? The Gary Adult Learning Center offers free classes designed to prepare students to successfully complete the HSE test. Most students have had success completing their HSE in less than three months depending on their commitment to the program. Scholarships are available to cover the fee to take the HSE test after preparation classes.
The Gary Adult Learning Center is located in the Gary Area Career Center in Room 120S at 1800 East 35thAvenue in Gary, Indiana. There is no cost to attend the classes. Program hours are Monday through Thursday from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
