Four Winds Casinos to offer cash giveaways, live entertainment, and more for New Year’s celebrations

If you’re in need of some fun plans for New Year's Eve and New Year’s Day, Four Winds Casinos has you covered! With food, music, and money giveaways, there’s a little something in the celebration for everyone.

On New Year’s Eve, the casino and its local locations in New Buffalo, Mich. and South Bend, Ind. will be running several drawings for cash prizes along with party favors and live entertainment throughout the holiday.

“We're doing a $30,000 New Year's Eve cash bash,” said Director of Entertainment Jason George. “It starts at noon, and runs till 6 p.m. eastern. At noon, two winners will each win $2,500. Each hour after that, we'll be giving away lots of cash and prizes. It’s all pretty exciting!”

On New Year’s Day, the festivities continue with even more chances to win money.

“On January 1, it's time for ‘New Year's Money Mania’ and the ‘New Year, New Money’ promotions. We'll be giving away a lot of cash, up to $35,000, for the ‘New Year's Money Mania’ and up to $50,000 for the ‘New Year, New Money.’ We’re giving away lots of money on New Year's Eve and Day at Four Winds Casinos,” George said.

Guests at the New Buffalo location will also be able to treat themselves to an all-you-can-eat prime rib and shrimp buffet, and the Kankakee Grille will be open in both New Buffalo and South Bend as well for more options.

In addition, guests will have tons of opportunities to catch live entertainment. Showgirls will be present throughout all casino properties for photo opportunities. In New Buffalo, aerialists, dancers, and a marching band marching at the top of every hour will be there for people to enjoy.

New Buffalo casino-goers can also listen to some live music as well to ring in the new year.

“At the C bar, we'll have live entertainment and a DJ right to 1 a.m. At Copper Rock we'll have live entertainment from 7 p.m. to a little after midnight,” George said. “Shock Roxy is our headlining ticket. The Key Grill will be open that night from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m. to party all night long. I have a DJ that will also be on the casino floor for the night in the C bar.”

Those in South Bend looking for a good time are also in luck; the music and fun extends to Indiana as well.

“At our Kankakee Grille in South Bend, we have Michael Patterson playing until 9 p.m.,” George said. “At Copper Rock we also have another wonderful piano player Matt Martino, and then we'll be finishing off the night back at Kankakee Grille with local favorites Gemini from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m.”

George said the casinos aim to make each year better than the last, and he’s excited for everyone to check it out and see what both locations have this time around.

“Every year we try to make it bigger and better. The entertainment on the casino floor and the marching bands playing at the top of every hour have been a real hit with our customers. Just trying to give away more money every year and make it more exciting for everybody is our goal so there’s something for everybody going on,” George said.

George also added that with the various forms of entertainment, everyone can get in on the fun.

“Beyond gaming, Four Winds really provides a lot of great amenities for non-gaming customers, and I think that's what's so exciting,” George said. “We have the food outlets and beautiful hotels. We have the Copper Rock Steakhouse in South Bend and New Buffalo and the new-to-us Kankakee Grille restaurants. So, there's always something to do even if you're not a gamer.”
