GreatNews.Life Executive Director, Jenny Craig-Brown enjoyed a visit to the “Left of Center” podcast with hosts Mayor Tom McDermott and Kevin Smith along with John Vezmar and Lindsay Pirosko to share all about the mission here at the region's exclusively positive media company. The group learned all about positive news and the upcoming All About the Girls event and podcast.
While educating the group about GreatNews.Life, the LOC team was excited to learn that our sites were free and positive news only. Mayor McDermott excitedly mentioned, “What only positive news? I’ve never heard such a thing.”
Kevin Smith emphasized “And you are saying I can get this news for free?”
As they continued to talk about the GreatNews.life platforms, Mayor McDermott talked about the fact that they were the first area to sign onto these news platforms.

Craig- Brown agreed that “The City of Hammond was signed on early and often as soon as you were able.”
The All About the Girls event was also exciting news for the crew. Craig-Brown happily gave plenty of information stating that "the event started 8 years ago with the idea of providing a space to highlight women." John Vezmar appropriately mentioned, "this event is like a TED Talk for just women about women."
