This year challenged us to remain hopeful. When the pandemic reached our community, you gave to the Lake County COVID-19 Response Fund for nonprofits providing immediate support to families in need. With your donations, organizations like Fair Haven Rape Crisis Center received a grant to purchase equipment and software for staff to connect securely online with abuse victims and survivors.
As health concerns rolled into economic issues, you gave to the COVID-19 Small Business Relief Fund to support local businesses struggling to reopen or remain open. Legacy Foundation was able to award $50,000 from that fund to help sustain small businesses.
We saw countless school supply drives and food distributions because of your collective efforts to give back. You continue to give and recognize that we must support our community members so they can find success.
