On Friday, October 7, 2016 at 10:00 Eisenhower participated in the "Time Out for Reading" event at our school.
This year's theme was "Reading is Magical." We had over 600 people in attendance at our "Time Out for Reading Event."
The students and staff were dressed in Disney attire along with their red noses. Our principal Mrs. Mary Ann Chapko read "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs."
Our Music Director Brooke Robinson taught the students a reading version of the song "Whistle While You Read."
We had a wonderful day celebrating literacy. Thank you so much for giving us the opportunity to celebrate READING!
