Chuck Roth of the Chesterton Feed and Garden Center in Chesterton talks to Duneland Summer School students about honey bees and bee keeping as student Allison Balcerak, right, models what a beekeeper would wear to harvest honey and care for bees. The visit benefitted students in the High Ability course that are studying about Rome and how ancient Romans didn't have sugar so they used honey to sweeten things. Also, regular first grade summer school classes are focusing on insects in their reading.
