Dyer Parks and Recreation is partnering with Deer Run Animal Hospital for a free seminar for dog owners on Dog Park Safety and Etiquette. All are welcome to join us!
The seminar will be held on Thursday, October 17th, from 7:00 to 9:00 pm at Deer Run Plaza, 310 E US Hwy 30 in Schererville. Topics will include:
- How to know if your dog is the right dog to take to the park
- How to prepare yourself and your dog
- How to identify safe play behavior
- Learn about dog communication
- Learn to read dog body language and danger signs
- Learn how to protect your dog from health risks at the park
