The City of Crown Point is pleased to announce the return of the 2020 Summer Events at the Franciscan Health Pavilion and Amphitheater at Bulldog Park in accordance with the State of Indiana's Back on Track Plan.

The following is a list of City sponsored events scheduled through September.

  • Farmer's Market continues on Saturdays through September from 8 AM - 1 PM.
  • Splash Pad is open Monday - Friday from 10 AM - 6 PM, Saturday 8 AM - 6 PM & Sundays 12 PM - 6 PM.
  • Car Cruise returns to Bulldog Park on Thursdays beginning August 6th from 4 - 8 PM through September 24th.
  • Summer Concert Series begins this Saturday from 7 - 10 PM. The headliner is Bonfire (AC/DC Tribute Band) with Ripley Street opening. You may bring your own chairs and blankets. No outside food or beverages are permitted!
  • Facility rentals available at Bulldog Park.

The City of Crown Point is committed to providing a safe environment to all our residents and guests.

The following guidelines have been established and approved by the Lake County Health Department and adhere to the Executive order in place from Governor Holcomb.

All guidelines will be strictly enforced.

City of Crown Point Concert/Car Cruise rules for customers /patrons beginning August 1st during COVID-19

Concert- August 1st, 7 - 10 PM

Car Cruise/Concert- August 6th, 10th, Sept. 10th , and 24th, 4 - 8 PM

Dates are subject to change!

Patrons should not attend the event if ill or have been in contact with someone who is sick or tested positive for COVID-19 within the past two weeks.

  • Capacity- 50% of capacity limits with 6ft spacing = 655 people
  • City representative will monitor one entrance to ensure capacity. Multiple exits will open at end of event.
  • Patrons shall maintain social distancing in line to enter the event.
  • Hand sanitizer will be provided upon entry of the event as well as be available at any food or beverage station.
  • No food or beverage will be permitted.
  • Food/beverage station will have a one way enter and exit lines with signs posted.
  • Masks are required to be worn by everyone attending the event when social distancing cannot be maintained.
  • Patrons must maintain at least 6 feet of social distancing from other patrons. Signs will be prominently posted through the facility as well as displayed on large screen. Announcements will be made throughout the event.
  • Patrons may bring chairs, or blankets to sit on.
  • Outdoor facility allows the ability for open seating to be spread out.
  • Port a potty's and a hand washing station will be provided.
  • Staff/city representatives will be appropriately scheduled and available to address any issues.

Staff and Volunteer Screening

  • All city staff and volunteers are screened for symptoms before each shift.
  • Body temperature prior to start of shift.
