Crown Point High School hosts VEX Robotics Competition

crown-point-bulldogs-logoOver 400 young inventors are geared up for the VEX Robotics Competition at the Crown Point High School Field House.

More than 270 leading middle and high school students and mentors from around Indiana will unite for the 2018-2019 VEX Robotics Competition game, Turning Point. The action-packed tournament will feature more than 54 teams who will compete with and against other schools in a series of back-to-back robotics challenges.

In addition to the VEX Robotics Competition, 130 middle school VEX IQ Challenge students and mentors from around Northwest Indiana will come together for the VEX IQ Challenge Next Level tournament. The event will feature more than 30 teams collaborating with other schools in a series of back-to-back robot challenges.

These events will be on February 23, 2019 at the Crown Point High School Field House. Doors open at 7:00 am. Qualifying Rounds will begin at 10:00 am with Eliminations beginning at 2:30 pm. The day will conclude with awards at 4:30 pm.
