Crown Point High School announces National Merit Scholarship winners

Crown Point High school would like to congratulate 3 students that were named National Merit Scholarship Semi-Finalist and 6 named Commended students.

To be considered for a National Merit Scholarship award, Semifinalists must fulfill several requirements to advance to the Finalist level of competition.  These academically talented high school seniors have an opportunity to continue in the competition that will award more than $31 million in scholarships.  The three Crown Point High School NMSC Semifinalists are Ilya Bulanov, Emily Darlington and Lukas Denney. 

Those being named Commended students have demonstrated outstanding potential for academic success.  CPHS Commended students are Autum  Boren, Alyssa Del Real, Marilyn Ives, Alexandra Sulewski, Benjamin Tufts and Madelyn Whitaker.
