Crown Point Farmer’s Market to Bring First Responders to Talk Back to School Safety

Mayor David Uran’s Office of Special Events will host the Crown Point Police, Fire and EMA at the Farmer’s Market next week on Wednesday on August 21st from 4-8pm to talk to families about Back to School Safety!

Residents and guests are invited to come out and meet our police, fire, and EMA staff as well as our new Dare Officer, Stanko Gligic, & A.P.C.A. Valor Award Winner, Retired K-9 Officer Radar and explore the emergency vehicles.

Our emergency personnel will be on hand to discuss a variety of safety topics!  Walking / riding to school, stranger danger, fire safety, car seat safety etc.

This year’ Farmer’s Market has expanded to Wednesday evenings from 4 to 8pm in addition to the traditional Saturday market that runs from 8am-1pm taking place at the Franciscan Health Pavilion @ Bulldog Park.

We have a great selection of vendors this year on both days!  We hope you come out and enjoy all Crown Point has to offer. The Farmer’s Market season continues on Wednesday evenings from 4-8pm and Saturdays 8am – 1pm through September!
