Crown Point Announces Series of Themed Skate Nights

The City of Crown Point is ending its 2022-2023 skating season in style.

Throughout the month of February, the City will host themed skate nights at Bulldog Park. The fun kicks off this Saturday, Feb. 4, when Crown Point will go back to the 1980s for ‘80s Night.

Skaters can enjoy music matching the evening’s theme, as well as a photo wall for totally tubular selfies. Costumes are not required but are encouraged.

“Hosting themed skate nights allows us to close out the 2022-2023 skating season with an extra dose of fun,” Crown Point Entertainment Superintendent Diana Bosse said. “This is just another opportunity for the community to enjoy the NHL-sized ice rink at Bulldog Park.”

The complete themed skate night schedule is:

  • ‘80s Night, Feb. 4
  • Sweetheart Skate, Feb. 11
  • 2000s Night, Feb. 18
  • Fairytale Night, Feb. 25

The Timothy Grzych Ice Rink at Bulldog Park is open Friday through Sunday, weather and event permitting. Admission is $5. Skate rental is $3. For a complete list of hours, please visit www.crownpoint.in.gov.
