Cristal Brisco Named to Centier Bank Board of Directors

Michael E. Schrage, President and CEO of Centier Bank, is pleased to announce the appointment of Cristal Brisco as a new member of Centier’s Board of Directors.

Brisco is an executive-experienced attorney and currently serves as Magistrate Judge for the St. Joseph Circuit Court. Previously, she has served as General Counsel for the Corporation of Saint Mary’s College - Notre Dame and Chief Legal Counsel for Mayor Pete Buttigieg through the City of South Bend’s Executive Branch.

“I am excited to join the leadership team at Centier Bank and helping support its mission of being a community partner throughout Indiana,” explained Brisco. “Centier’s commitment to building communities through banking, financial literacy, and volunteerism is exemplary, and I look forward to contributing to the direction of this family-owned organization.”

Brisco has been named to Lawyers of Color Magazine’s “Hot List” and a “Rising Star” by the Indiana Super Lawyers organization, among many other honors. Brisco holds a B.A. in History from Valparaiso University (cum laude) and a J.D. from the University of Notre Dame. She currently serves as a Board Member of the Notre Dame Law School Association and is a member of the Nominating and Audit Committees for the Indiana State Bar Association.

Centier Bank continues to grow throughout the state, especially in the Michiana region, with a new branch in Elkhart's downtown slated to open in August. This will be Centier's 10th branch in Michiana and fourth in Elkhart County.
