Hammond Bishop Noll senior Larry Crisler was a Week 11 recipient (Jan. 20-25) of the Subway Boys Basketball Player of the Week in District 1 by the Indiana Basketball Coaches Association.
The 6-3 Crisler averaged 22.7 points in propelling Hammond Noll to three victories and the championship of the Greater South Shore Conference Tournament. Crisler opened with 36 points, six rebounds, four assists and seven steals in an 87-61 win over Marquette Catholic. He followed with 20 points in a 75-50 semifinal win over Whiting. Crisler concluded his week with 12 points, seven rebounds and three assists as the Warriors moved to 11-2. Against Marquette, Crisler sank 9-of-12 shots from the field, including 4-of-4 3-pointers, plus 14-of-14 free throws.
