A community meeting is planned for Monday, October 28 from 6-7:30 p.m. at the St. Stanislaus School Cafeteria, 4930 Indianapolis Blvd. in East Chicago. Host EC-8 Crime Watch is urging concerned residents to attend. At the meeting, attendees will hear what is going on in the community and be able to meet the East Chicago Police Department Citizens Academy cadets. Refreshments will be served.
