1233E-World-TeamThe Crown Point High School VEX Robotics Team 1233E Underdogs competed at the VEX Robotics World Championship in Anaheim California. VEX Robotics is now the World’s largest Robotics program with 10,000 teams in 31 countries. The World completion saw 750 teams and 15.000 Students from 26 countries in the VEXIQ Elementary Division, VEX Middle School Division, VEX High School Division, and the VEXU University Division. 1233E competed in the High School Division with 430 Teams in 5 Divisions (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math, and Arts). The team excelled in qualifying rounds and made it to the Finals Rounds, finishing in the Quarter Finals with a 1-2 record in the Math Division.

CPHS VEX Robotics has been at the High School for five years and has qualified each of those years for the World Championship. This is the highest finish we have had in those five years. This year saw the team grow to 6 teams and 33 students. Hard work and dedication to robotics is what drives these students to have one of this best robotics teams in Indiana and now the World.

Without the support of CPHS, CPCSC, and our sponsors, the Crown Point Community Foundation, Dr. and Mrs. McNally, and Dr. and Mr. Gold we would not have the program we have today.
