Nonprofit Staff and Board Training Scholarships
Partnering with the IUPUI Lilly School of Philanthropy, Legacy Foundation will offer scholarships that will cover 75% of the tuition for online training for staff and board members of Lake County nonprofit organizations. Scholarships will be offered on a competitive basis. Priority will be given to minority applicants.

Nonprofit Capacity Building Grants
Lake County foundations (Legacy Foundation, Crown Point Community Foundation, and Foundations of East Chicago) partner to build nonprofit capacity. Grants will cover the cost of plans for emergency preparedness or strategic restructuring, up to $5,000.
Grants for emergency preparedness are intended to assist organizations in being better equipped to work remotely, communicate with supporters digitally, or bring on consultants for preparedness assessments.
The strategic restructuring grants are intended to support organizations as they assess, negotiate, design, and/or implement more effective and efficient programs and procedures.
The first round of grant applications are due Monday, July 20.
