Community Member Lu Dewulf Donates in Support of Rebuilding Together – Duneland’s 20th Anniversary Work Day

Lu-Dewolf-donates-to-RTDCommunity member Lu Dewulf cares deeply about the Duneland community in many ways, and has long shown it by supporting Rebuilding Together – Duneland (RTD) for decades as both a sponsor and a volunteer. This year, we are happy to share that she has again generously donated towards the organization’s work day, which will be held on Saturday, April 29th.

RTD has 11 homes and 5 community projects on the schedule for its 20th anniversary work day in 2017. Volunteers are the key to the organization’s continued success, and now is the time for volunteers to register. Help RTD provide safe living conditions for our neighbors in need. With just one Saturday of your time and skilled or unskilled labor, you can make a real difference for a family in your community. In order to plan for transportation, provide lunches and to ensure every volunteer receives a t-shirt, the deadline to apply is April 10th. Easy online applications are available at: www.rtduneland.org.

If you want to support RTD another way, donations can be made by mailing a check to Rebuilding Together - Duneland, P.O. Box 644, Chesterton, IN 46304 or through PayPal by selecting the donations tab at www.rtduneland.org. Material donations are also welcome.

Rebuilding Together - Duneland is the local affiliate of the nation’s largest nonprofit volunteer organization, Rebuilding Together, based in Washington, D.C. Our mission is to improve the quality of life of physically and/or financially struggling people in the Duneland School District by rehabilitating their homes. Since 1997, RTD has reinvested donations into over $1.17 million in market value helping more than 220 households and dozens of community projects across the Duneland area.
