On Thursday, February 26, The Salvation Army will be holding a Share A Meal fund raising event in partnership with Service Doctor and U-Cook cooking school located at 5150 US 30 Merrillville between 6:30 - 8:30 pm. This event is specifically targeted to help raise funds for The Salvation Army Hunger Programs in Lake County, Indiana.
Free entry and pasta bar when you donate at least one item for The Salvation Army's food pantry. Appetizer and dessert bars available for an additional $5 per person.
So, come on out and enjoy a delicious meal prepared by professional chefs and help provide a healthy meal for those who are in financial crisis or homeless with your donation of canned goods and non-perishable food items.
There will be a silent auction and door prizes. Cash donations also accepted.
